"People who can not motivate themselves must be content with their mediocrity"

Andrew Carnegie (1835/1919)

It seems that everyone is attracted to one of two streams: either he feels overwhelmed by a heavy task that he must accomplish in his life, or he feels indifferent, irresponsible, with a mind free of all concerns . Hopefully, nothing disturbs him. The first person is tired but important, the second person is in relaxation but bland ,
 sterile and unimportant.
But what do we do when we are not attracted to any task, or cause or inclination?
Honestly it's hard to be free from ambition but if you are in such situation, we must create our own motivation. Living without focusing a noble goal means death. Our existence is a means to create, to build a civilization and it is not an end in itself. The existence is an end only for animals.
