Fashion: with or against?
I was reading a book under an olive tree near
the house. Suddenly my friend
Samira came to me. She was like a clown who just finished his scene.
Samira: Good evening.
I: Good evening, Samira. How are you?
Samira: I'm fine. And you?
I: I am perfectly fine. What dress do you wear?
Samira: It is the new fashion dress.
I: But this fashion does not suit you.
Samira: It doesn’t
matter if it suits me or not, the important thing is that it is in line with
fashion.
I: But don’t you
see yourself in the mirror? Your outlook is ugly.
Samira: I don’t care
what you see. I am very satisfied with my appearance as long as it follows the
fashion developed by the biggest fashion designers.
I: The purpose of
fashion is to look beautiful. But in this dress you are seen as an ironic joke.
Samira: Beauty concept
changes by time. Beauty is determined by the fashion and age in which we are.
I: I am
completely opposed to this point of view. I do not care about fashion. I wear
clothes that suit me. Fashion does not suit all people.
Samira: Everyone is
free in his ideas.
I: That is right.
