"An army of ants can overcome a poisonous snake."
This Chinese proverb means that weak
beings, become a formidable force when they unite, a force that can create
miraculous results. The unity is strength; that's right. But behind this law
there are other important ideas.
The first idea is that everyone, specially who thinks that he is weak,
should not ignore his value. We must believe that there are always a few
resources and few opportunities to overcome barriers.
A squirrel attacked by a fierce animal, can take advantage of its small size to
hide in a small hole. However an elephant remains exposed to danger.
The second idea is that sociability is a requirement that guides us
in solving many problems. Isolation forced or wanted only causes the inability,
the weakness and the fatigue. The life of the exiled, the banned and the
deported is a real torture.
